So its not the same issue. Its not even really a problem. The only reason it even exists is that frigate pilots feel that BS should be incapable <or nearly so> of dealing with them. Even JFK in PT-109, <a miraculously small ship> was sunk by a MUCH larger japanese vessel in WW2. I've even seen old black and white footage of the USS Pennsylvania taking out zeros with her deck AA guns <comparison of frigates to BS in a 3d environment>. All of you are in need of a serious and bracing reality check here.
Bottom line, it is possible to use a cannon to kill a mosquito, you just gotta take the time and spend the money that it requires...to buy and equip the right cannonballs.

1. Missiles were broken and they were fixed in cold war, yeah. Now they are broken again.
2. Ok, lets compare the required training for large turrets and cruise missiles. Lets see, to use t2 large turrets, you need both small AND medium specializations, which take a couple of months to train, + you need sharpshooter 5 or motion prediction 5 depending on the turret type you are training for. What do you need to train cruise specialization? Cruise 5, heavy missiles 3? Dont make me laugh...
And the cost is the direct consequence of their usefulness... Its nothing but an indication that they are overpowered.
3, 4. Duh bleh and pfft..
In short, the devs have admitted that precision cruise were broken and they will be nerfed. Im pretty damn sure they know better than you.
